HOMAGE TO A HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD NEIGHBOUR OF CALVIÀ
This morning the mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the councillor of the Costa de la Calma area, Olga Granados, welcomed Francisca Tomás Sastre, a neighbour from Costa de la Calma who turned 100 years old on 1st January 2019, and to whom they have honoured with a bouquet of flowers and a souvenir plaque on behalf of Calvià Town Hall.
Francisca Tomás, who visited the Town Hall with her relatives, explained that she was born in Esporles and lived for a time in Montevideo with her family and that her good health allows her to have hobbies such as plants and flowers.
