NEW INTERURBAN BUS SERVICE IN THE WEST AREA OF MALLORCA PRESENTATION
The improvements will reduce the journey time with direct connections to Palma
The new service will be operational in early November 2020
Today, the new interurban bus service in the West area that will be operational in early November 2020 has been presented at Calvià Town Hall. Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal welcomed the president of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armengol, and the regional minister for Mobility and Housing, Marc Pons, who have presented the new connections that will improve the public transport service of Calvià and the whole West area of Mallorca.
The general director of Mobility, Jaume Mateu, has detailed the service improvements, such as the journey times reduction of some lines.
The presentation was attended by the mayoress of Esporles, Maria Ramon; the deputy mayor for Sustainable Mobility of Palma, Francesc Dalmau, and representatives and councillors of the municipalities of Andratx, Estellencs and Banyalbufar.
