MEETING OF CALVIÀ TOWN HALL WITH THE REGIONAL MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FISHERIES AND FOOD
A meeting was held today between Calvià Town Hall and the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. A first contact to discuss some issues of interest to the municipality, related to the use of reclaimed water for agricultural irrigation through an irrigation community, agricultural aspects related to the municipal public estate of Galatzó, and about the possibility of expanding the Marine Reserves.
The deputy mayor and the councillor for Environment and Ecological Transition, Rafel Sedano and Marga Plomer, have met with the regional minister Mae de la Concha, in a meeting also attended by the general director of Sustainable Development of the Town Hall, Francisco Giménez, the Regional Ministry's general director of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, Gabriel Torrens, and the general director of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Juan Mercant.
