THE GALATZÓ TRAIL 2020 IS POSTPONED UNTIL 22ND NOVEMBER DUE TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES RELATED TO COVID-19, FOR SPORTS EVENTS IN THE BALEARIC ISLANDS
The 3rd edition of the Galatzó Trail will finally take place on 22nd November.
The decision to postpone the Galatzó Trail mountain competition, due originally this Sunday, 15th March, was taken today, 11th March, after the daily meeting to assess the progress of Covid19.
The organisation has taken this decision given the new measures and recommendations that the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Balearic Island Government, via the Regional Ministries of Social Affairs and Sports, and Health, have sent us in recent hours.
The organisation is aware that this decision is detrimental for everyone due to take part in the event, also for the organisation that has been working for almost a year on the project and has all the necessary resources in place for it to go ahead.
Participants will have the option of maintaining their registration for the new race date, 22nd November, or obtaining a full refund of their registration fee. From Monday, 16th March, the refund process will be operative.
