EXTRAORDINARY HOUSING RENTAL AIDS COVID-19

The Calvià Town Hall, announces these extraordinary housing rental aids for tenants of habitual residence, located in the municipality of Calvià, who as a consequence of the economic and social impact of the Covid-19 have had problems to face the rent payment.

Applications can be submitted from 3rd to 22nd June 2020, both included.

People that can benfit from the aids are those who are in a situation of economic and social vulnerability caused by Covid-19, and who are in the following circumstances:
a) Are unemployed.
b) Are in a situation of temporary employment regulation (ERTE).
c) Are affected by a reduction of the working hours for reasons of family, work or organisational reconciliation, provided that they have dependent minor children.
d) Are self-employed and have suffered a 75% income reduction or that the activity that was carried out has been suspended during the state of alarm. Aids will be granted for a maximum of 6 months, reviewable every 2 months.

For a home rental of up to a maximum of 900 euros, the amount of the aid is up to 40% of the monthly rent. For a monthly house rental of more than 900 euros and up to 1,100 euros, the amount of the aid is up to 30% of the monthly rent.
