CALVIÀ COMMEMORATES WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Due to the World Environment Day, the Calvià Town Hall has organised a series of activities, amongst which there will be a VIRTUAL DAY, which has been launched by the Environment and Ecological Transition Department in collaboration with Biblioteques de Calvià, through which one can take a tour through various areas in relation to the Environment. You can find, for example, documentary videos, films, scientific monologues, workshops, publications, books, amongst others.
Virtual Day is one of the activities planned throughout the week, in which there has also been a walk through the Galatzó estate, broadcast by Calvià public radio, and a conversation about the Posidonia campaign and the actions that are carried out in the municipality of Calvià between the Deputy Mayor for the Environment and Ecological Transition, Rafel Sedano, the Regional Minister for the Environment and Territory, Miquel Mir, and the General Director of Tourism and Coastline of the Calvià Town Hall, Xavier Pascuet.
