Agreements with social entities

CALVIÀ TOWN HALL SIGNS TWO AGREEMENTS WITH SOCIAL ENTITIES, ONE WITH THE CANCER SUPPORT MALLORCA ASSOCIATION AND THE OTHER WITH FUNDACIÓ DEIXALLES

The agreements have been signed for the transfer of use of municipal premises

Calvià Town Hall has signed an agreement this morning with the Cancer Support Mallorca association and another one with Fundació Deixalles for the transfer of use of a municipal premises to facilitate that these entities can carry out their activity in the municipality.

The agreements have been signed by the Deputy Mayor for Youth and Citizen Participation, Rafel Sedano, and by representatives of the social entities, with the presence of the Councilwoman for Citizen Participation and Youth, Marga Plomer, who has highlighted the will to collaborate with these entities so that they can have spaces to carry out the work of support to people they carry out, each one in their respective field of action. On behalf of the Cancer Support Mallorca association, the agreement has been signed by Hyer Christine Ann Hoctor, and on behalf of the Fundació Deixalles by its general director, Francesca Maria Martí Llodrà.

The aim of the Cancer Support Mallorca association is to help people affected by cancer, and from now on it will have the use of a municipal premises located at 3 Lluna St. in Portals Nous to carry out its activities.

The Fundació Deixalles is an organisation whose purpose is to carry out activities aimed at the socio-labour insertion of people at social exclusion risk or disadvantaged. With the signing of the agreement, Calvià Town Hall grants the Fundació Deixalles the use of a premises located at 2 Diego Salvà St. in Palmanova to carry out its work in the municipality.

For both entities, the duration of the assignment of the use of the premises will be one year, renewable up to a maximum of four years.
