CALVIÀ WILL RECEIVE 1.7 MILLION EUROS FOR SOCIAL SUPPORT AND URGENTLY NEEDED AIDS
The three agreements have been signed today with the Mallorcan Institute of Social Affairs for the 2020-2021 period
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, has attended today the signing of three agreements with the IMAS (Mallorcan Institute of Social Affairs), through which the municipality will receive 1.709.619 euros for social support and urgent needed aids.
The agreements correspond to the financing of basic community social services, co-financed by the IMAS and the Government of the Balearic Islands, which for Calvià represents an amount of 1.320.052 euros for the 2020-2021 period. The second agreement, of 304.791 euros, also for the same period, is intended for psychosocial support actions for children and adolescents and for economic benefit actions for priority care situations.
The third agreement represents an amount of 84.776 euros for Calvià, for the year 2020, destined to economic benefits for priority attention situations due to the exceptional situation, in order to support the Town Halls before the social crisis generated by the covid-19.
