CALVIÀ TOWN HALL SIGNS A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH RADIO TAXI CALVIÀ TO HELP WITH THE COST OF THE CALL CENTRE SERVICE FOR THE YEAR 2020
The Town Hall contributes to the maintenance of the service that is operational 24 hours a day and the 365 days of the year with a subsidy of ten thousand euros
Calvià Town Hall has signed today a collaboration agreement with the Radio Taxi Calvià cooperative society to help with the expenses generated by the call centre service.
During this year 2020, the Radio Taxi Calvià cooperative society has had to face the same expenses as a normal season in Calvià to ensure and continue to offer the public service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, when, due to the crisis generated by Covid-19, the income of the associated workers has been minimal, and they have not been able to make the usual contributions.
Calvià Town Hall, aware of this situation, has wanted to help assume the cost of the call centre service during the current year, thus promoting the economic reactivation of a public transport sector that has been particularly affected by the restrictions and the economic crisis.
On behalf of the Town Hall, the agreement has been signed by the mayor, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, while on behalf of Radio Taxi Calvià the agreement has been signed by its president, Fernando Luengo, with the attendance of the Deputy Mayor for General Services and Infrastructures, head of Mobility, Joan Recasens.
Through this agreement, Calvià Town Hall collaborates, with a 10.000-euro grant, with Radio Taxi Calvià in the assumption of the expenses generated during 2020 for the maintenance of the call centre service that is operational 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year.
