Act of rejection, desire and remembrance of the women murdered by their partners or former partners
As every month in Calvià, the act of rejection, desire and remembrance of the women murdered by their partners or ex-partners has taken place this noon, at the entrance of Calvià Town Hall.
During the act, introduced by the Deputy Mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés, sentences written or pronounced by women in favour of equality and against sexist violence have been read, and the names of the murdered women since 25th November 2020 have been hanged on the heart that honours the remembrance of the women murdered. The event was attended by the municipal government team and representatives of part of the political groups of the Council, and workers of Calvià Town Hall.
The capacity of the event has been limited because of the restrictions due to the Covid regulations.
