Festivities annoucement and mayor's speech in the Cross event
Gaspar Servera's festivities announcement and the institutional Cross event, with speech by mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, resumed the Festes del rei En Jaume 2021. The senior citizens' groups and associations in the municipality attended the event held with capacity limitation due to sanitary measures. The president of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armengol; the president of the Parliament, Vicenç Thomàs, and the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Catalina Cladera, were also present, as well as all the members of the Municipal Corporation of Calvià, and the town crier of the virtual event of 2020, Dr. José Ignacio Ramírez Manent, medical director of the Calvià health area.
