DEPUTY MAYOR DELEGATE OF URBAN PLANNING, COMMERCE, CITIZEN PARTICIPATION AND YOUTH COUNCILLOR DELEGATE FOR THE AREA OF EL TORO
As Deputy Mayor, he is responsible for the following services: Urban Planning Services (urban plans, urban management, territory planning, historical heritage), Work Licensing Services; Local Agenda 21; Rural Environment; Natural and Urban Environment Services (environmental services, pest control), municipal kennel, Trade Services (trade promotion and management), Citizen Participation Services (relations with neighbourhood associations), Youth Services (promotion, management and development of programmes and services aimed at young people).
He was born in Palma de Mallorca on 28th November 1980.
He is head of sales in the insurance sector.
He obtained his bachelor's degree in LOGSE and studied up to third year of Economics at the UIB. He is currently enrolled in the 1st year of the Communication degree at the UOC, and in the EOI to obtain the BEC level of English.
He has completed complementary training in customer service and sales techniques (CAEB, 2003) and the advanced Excel course (UNED, 2009). In an insurance sector company, he has been trained in commercial management techniques, advisory sales, negotiation, communication, motivation, leadership and team management.
In his professional career he was Corporate Sales Manager at Sanitas de Seguros S.A. (July 2014 - July 2015), Sales Manager at Sanitas Seguros, SA (2011-2014) and Director of Commercial Organisation at Cahispa Seguros, SA in 2010. In all these cases he was responsible for the selection, training and tutelage of agents and responsible for commercial teams. From 2006 to 2011 he was sales executive for SMEs in Sanitas Seguros, SA.
From 2nd July 2015 to 22nd February 2018 he was general director of sports and sporting events. He ceased in his position to be appointed, on 22nd February 2018, councillor of Calvià Town Hall.
A sports fan in general, he likes running and also plays paddle tennis, football, and other team activities. He also enjoys reading, travelling and cinema.
