Route I: Palmanova, Son Caliu, Magaluf

This is the first Urban Art route in Calvià, one that runs through the towns of Palmanova, Son Caliu and Magaluf. This route encompasses the following works: first, the works rendered in 2012 by the artists Santiago Morilla, Boa Mistura, Ramón Pérez Sendra, Moisés Lozano and Kike del Río, along with the work made by Soma as part of the 1st Art&MindGame Festival. It also features the works rendered in 2013 with the participation of Escif and Nuria Mora curated by Pilar Rubí and Magda Albis; the work by Spok and Nano 4814 curated by Cristina Anglada; and the work by Maíllo and E1000 curated by Tolo Cañellas. Finally, it also contains the works by the artists shortlisted in the open competition, Llorenç Balaguer “Negrotinto”, Javier Garló, Andrés Senra and Bartomeu Sastre.

The BetArt Calvià project, conducted by the Calvià Foundation in conjunction with the Department of Culture of the Calvià Town Hall, aims to be a laboratory of urban art in constant evolution where art takes to the streets in the quest for interaction and dialogue between the work and its creators on the one hand and citizens and visitors on the other. Its ultimate goal is to shape an outdoor museum in the town of Calvià.
